Wunhee Yun founded A1 Acupuncture in 1977 in order to fill a gap in the world of modern medicine practices. We bring to you ancient art of healing by herbs and acupuncture. Our staff at A1 Acupuncture considers each patient individually in order to determine a series of treatments that will encourage each individual body to heal itself. “I have been seeing Wun Hee Yun at A-1 Acupuncture for over 20 years. She is the real deal when it comes to acupuncture and she also seems to have a special gift for healing. Throughout the years, she has helped me and my family with issues related to anxiety, depression, sinus issues and back pain. This may sound crazy if you are not used to acupuncture, but I also credit her with helping get pregnant and start my family. I had some medical issues that prevented me from getting pregnant, and my traditional doctors said there just wasn't much I could do about it except possibly start a long road of hormone therapy. Wun Hee felt that she understood what was happening and how to fix it. I decided to take a chance on her and visited her weekly for 2 months. When I started this journey with you in November, I remember walking into an office so frightened and confused. As soon as I saw the plaque quoting John 3:16 sitting in a chair, I knew i was in the right place. I still feel this way. You care, compassion , dedication and thoughtful treatment renew my spirit and give me energy. I remember leaving the first treatment feeling a greater sense of peace. I believe a lot of my body has healed with your treatment. When I first started coming I had tingling in my left foot, breathing, hormone, circulation and digestive problems. The first Saturday after my first chemo therapy treatment started very rough. I couldn't get our of bed or eat and was very scared and sick. I could barely walk to the treatment room. AS I lay at the table, I was so grateful that you and Tom worked like well-oiled machines and toxins from my body so I could start feel better. By the end of treatment, I was able to walk out by myself. In the evening, I could have dinner, and the next day I felt energy and relief. " I first went to A1 Acupuncture in 2005, after having suffered for 3 years with recurring debilitating neck spasms. I would be down for 2-3 weeks, having to take pain medication, and then 12 weeks of physical therapy. And then in 2005, while at work the spasms began again. My co-worker tole me his experience after he had been in a car accident that left him unable to walk without a limp. He said he went to Wunhee Yun at A1 Acupuncture, and she completely healed him. She was located close to my job so I drove myself, barely able to move my neck. I told her my problem and my history. While on the table I could literally feel the pain leave my neck. After leaving her, I never experienced that pain again for 13 years. I recently suffered with pain in my neck and went back to her. This time it took a few days, but I am back to 100% again.
